Circle of Three - Chapter 10Locke carried the bundle of wood to the campfire and rested it near it. The fire was warm and the night was extra cold. Feeding the flame slowly with the wood, it surged and grew. Locke rubbed his hands together over the fire as the sounds of the waves surging against the beach soothed him. In a few hours they would be leaving the island to attempt to retake their home. The men that were once herders, tradesmen and shopkeepers alike, are now the ragtag soldiers that they have been training to become. Each man was given a sharpened wooden sword and a small amount of armor, made out of wood and strong leaves. It would be better then fighting naCircle of Three - Chapter 10

Circle of Three - Chapter 9“Wake up brother! Wake up!” Locke opened his eyes and yawned as someone shook him. “What is it Mog?” Locke asked as he held one eye open. “It isn’t time to leave yet.” “We are being attacked you must hurry!” Mog yelped. Locke stood up on the deck of the ship. He fell asleep on a break as he was moving items onto the ship for the islander’s departure. Locke looked at the island from the boat, and saw soldiers running rampant through the streets. “What?
