Circle of Three - Chapter 10Locke carried the bundle of wood to the campfire and rested it near it. The fire was warm and the night was extra cold. Feeding the flame slowly with the wood, it surged and grew. Locke rubbed his hands together over the fire as the sounds of the waves surging against the beach soothed him. In a few hours they would be leaving the island to attempt to retake their home. The men that were once herders, tradesmen and shopkeepers alike, are now the ragtag soldiers that they have been training to become. Each man was given a sharpened wooden sword and a small amount of armor, made out of wood and strong leaves. It would be better then fighting na Circle of Three - Chapter 10

Locke looked at the island from the boat, and saw soldiers running rampant through the streets.   “What? Circle of Three - Chapter 8Many months had passed since their arrival in Felincia. Moganthius and Locke took their parts amongst the herders and traders. Mog worked diligently with his tailoring, and his business grew as he began to trade off fine silk garments. Locke spent his days teaching the young and willing men how to fight with the sword, axe, and spear. Everything seemed it’s place, but something was different.   “Gorban. He has been gone for over four or five months now, and no one has seen him.” Locke said sadly to Moganthius as he spun his thread. Circle of Three - Chapter 7The boat arrived on the southern side of the island. The docks were small, and a bit crowded from other boats. Drunkard called forth to the dockworkers and they helped him into a space of his own. He looked over to Moganthius and smiled, as his eyes were vividly scanning the island from up close on the boat.   “The boat, she’s yours. I have my own, much better then this one.” Drunkard smirked as he spoke.   “Wow, really?  Thank you!” Moganthius said with a smile.
